Water oaks

One of the things I miss the most about Florida are the ancient, sprawling water oak trees. During our trip down to visit relatives during Thanksgiving, I captured this view.

Web of diamonds

Walking in the woods a little over a week ago, I came upon a bed of jewels laying in the grass–a spider’s web cradling droplets of water.

Waiting for stragglers

Monday morning the bus for Yachad Distribution leaves a bit earlier so the workers can get a head start on the orders that have accumulated over the weekend. Everyone looks a bit more tired than usual Monday mornings. It’s amazing how much of a difference 20 minutes can make.
