I am David Dick­er­son, a thirty-two-old hus­band, father-of-four, graphic and web designer, video­g­ra­pher and musi­cian. I have lived for most of my life with a com­mu­nity of pretty awe­some peo­ple. I and my fam­ily now reside in Sacra­mento, Cal­i­for­nia, where God is bring­ing together a group of peo­ple who want to live fully for Him.

About the photos

I take pho­tos with a cell phone–a Nokia E71x. It’s a mod­est 3.2 megapixel cam­era with no opti­cal zoom (the dig­i­tal zoom stinks), but the lim­i­ta­tions are some­thing you have to work with creatively.

I pass the pho­tos through Pho­to­shop to adjust color, con­trast, and composition.
